Steve Dement is the owner and C.E.O. of Landmark Title, Inc., the largest full-service independent title insurance agency in East Texas. He also maintains a real estate law practice in Tyler.
Steve graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Arts, Masters in Business Administration, and Juris Doctor degrees. In 1997, he founded The Brook Hill School, a private, Christian, college-preparatory school and The American Freedom Museum in Bullard, Texas.
Active in the East Texas community, Steve has served as Board member of the East Texas Communities Foundation, a member of the Smith County Bar Association, and has been recognized as City of Bullard’s Citizen of the Year (2004) and the City of Tyler’s Citizen of the Year (awarded by T.B. Butler in 2011).
Steve received the Sons of the American Revolution Good Citizen Award (2014), Shepherd’s Heart Ministry Order of the Towel (2018), and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes Gene Stallings Heart of Champion Award (2009).

Phil joined Landmark Title, Inc. in 2013. Phil has over 30 years of professional banking and title experience. He is a graduate of Stephen F. Austin University with a bachelor’s degree in management and finance. Phil has become a valuable leader in the industry. He has served as a member of the Board of Directors for the American Red Cross, Chamber of Commerce, and currently serves as a member of the board for the Tyler Area Builders Association. He has served on the committees of numerous business and organizations in the East Texas area. In his spare time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with family on his property.

Cathy joined Landmark Title, Inc. in 2017 as the Human Resources director for both the Tyler and Lindale offices. Cathy has over 20 years of experience in Human Resources. Cathy helps to uphold the company’s culture and core values along with hiring new staff. Cathy is a member of Cross Brand Cowboy Church. In her spare time, Cathy and her husband enjoy team roping, raising horses and cattle along with spending time with their children and grandchildren.
